Dr. Hamilton is board certified in general surgery and has been practicing in Dickson, Tenn., for three years. He completed both his internship and residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan., in 2002.
Dr. Hamilton earned his Medical Degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 1997. He received the Underserved Areas Clinical Scholar award. His undergraduate studies were completed at Transylvania University, in Lexington, Ky. where he studied biology.
At Clark Memorial Hospital, we welcome Dr. Hamilton to the community and to the medical staff, said Martin Padgett, president and CEO. He is a fine surgeon and brings valued services and commitment to the residents of Clark County.
During his training, Dr. Hamilton became familiar with several healthcare organizations including university, rural, Veterans affairs and large community hospital settings, preparing him for a diverse patient population.
Dr. Hamilton is currently accepting new patients. Most health insurance and managed care plans are accepted.
