Dr. Seyal Designated As A Specialist In Clinical Hypertension |

Dr. M. Saleem Seyal, cardiologist at Clark Memorial Hospital, has been designated as a specialist in clinical hypertension by the American Society of Hypertension's (ASH) Specialists Program, Inc. Dr. Seyal is one of 194 physicians so designated in the United States and Canada in the program's second phase, the first to require the successful completion of an examination. This group of designees joins the 586 physicians designated in the initial phase. The ASH specialists program was formed in 1998 to identify and recognize those physicians with expert knowledge and skill in the management of clinical hypertension and related diseases. Dr. Seyal is affiliated with River Cities Cardiology and is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He holds a specialist certificate in internal medicine from the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, and received a certificate of added qualification in interventional cardiology from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2000. Dr. Seyal also holds an appointment as associate clinical professor of medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. |
