From the Board Chairman

Welcome to Clark Memorial Hospital (CMH). I invite you to explore our website and to learn more about the health related programs and services CMH offers to the community. As Board Chairman, I would like to share with you the role of the Board of Trustees here at CMH.

The Board is charged, by law, with the responsibility of governing the hospital. It is the Board’s responsibility to:

• establish, maintain, support, and exercise oversight of the management and operations of the hospital
• establish requirements for the appointment, reappointment, and assignment of privileges to the medical staff
• oversee the delivery of quality medical care
• provide fiduciary oversight
• provide vision and strategic planning for future health related services

The hospital’s mission, with the Board’s support, is to provide superior health services to the people and communities we serve. The Board of Trustees is committed to improving the health and wellness of the people in the Ohio River Valley community we serve.
