The American Cancer Society's Prostate Cancer Education and Support Program helps men and their families cope with prostate cancer. Participation in the program provides information and peer support to assist in the recovery process.

What Does the Man to Man Program Offer?

Group Education and Support
A forum for men to learn about diagnosis ad treatment options through presentations, written materials, and videos. Specialists in various fields related to prostate cancer share information on medical topics and quality of life issues.

A comfortable and confidential meeting environment encourages men and their families to discuss their concerns openly and honestly and to share solutions to common problems. Support groups for spouses are also available in many areas. No medical advice is offered.

Personal Visits and Telephone Support
One-on-one patient support from specially trained prostate cancer survivors.

Man to Man Newsletter (Quarterly)
News and information about prostate cancer including research and treatment messages from men living with prostate cancer, and Man to Man activities.
