Scholarship Program Information
Eligibility:
College students enrolled in an accredited health care program and
pursuing a career as a:
- Registered Nurse
- Radiology Technologist
- Respiratory Therapist
- Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician
- Pharmacist
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, the applicant must
have completed all pre-requisites and be currently admitted to the
core program (i.e. Nursing Program)
Scholarship Amount: Up to $6,000 per calendar year *
Reimbursement: Tuition, fees and books
Conditions: Students must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 and
continue pursuing one of the eligible career paths. In addition, for
every year of scholarship monies awarded, the student must commit to
a year of employment with Clark Memorial Hospital. The determination
of department assignment and shift will be made at the time of
graduation based on the staffing needs of the organization.
Instructions:
- Complete the scholarship application. A typewritten
application is preferred.
- Submit four (4) written references, one of whom must be a faculty
member.
- Include an official transcript of past college courses.
Transcripts may be mailed to the address listed below.
- Include a letter from the college confirming admission to the
health care program and your anticipated date of graduation.
Deadline: Scholarships are awarded throughout the year, but
primarily at the beginning of the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.
Though there is no specific deadline to apply, it is best to submit
scholarship requests well before the beginning of each semester to
ensure monies are available.
