The Family Birth Place offers a wider range of classes on topics ranging from breastfeeding to infant CPR and safety, brothers and sisters to be, Lamaze and more.
Knee and Hip Pain Seminars
Clark Memorial offers Knee and Hip Pain seminars throughout the year to discuss conservative treatments and joint replacement surgery with Clark’s Fast Track Recovery program.
Bariatric Weight Loss
If you want to keep weight off permanently, Clark Memorial Hospital can help. The bariatric program offers a gastric banding procedure and complete follow-up to help you lose the weight and keep it off. Changes in behaviors and attitudes are an important part of the program. That’s why we offer everything from exercise evaluations to weigh-ins, consultations and support groups for our bariatric weight loss patients. Clark Memorial, in conjunction with the Clark County Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Coalition, offers free counseling for people who want to quit using cigarettes or spit tobacco. Ask us about our free tobacco cessation education programs for your business or organization.
Clark Memorial offers a number of specialized wellness programs for all ages, including weight management, Zumba® fitness and arthritis-friendly exercise classes, all at our state-of-the-art Health and Wellness facility.
Diabetes Support Group
Better manage diabetes with free education and information based on peer-driven topics relevant to you. Groups meet monthly to support and encourage one another to live healthier lives with diabetes.
