1970s-1980s

Throughout the 1970’s and 80’s, Clark Memorial continued to add services and improve its facilities.

The community looked forward to the new 6-million-dollar project that would provide the hospital with a modern fully automatic laundry, expansion of Medical Records, improvements in Radiology and Inhalation Therapy and a new entrance.

A philanthropic branch was formed, the Clark Memorial Hospital Foundation, in 1986.
