International Overdose Awareness Day
Tuesday, August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day. It is a day to remember those without stigma who have died from overdose and acknowledge the grief of family and friends that are left behind. #EndOverdose today!
Clark Memorial's Behavioral Health Services will host an Overdose Awareness Day event on August 31 to honor those that have died from overdose and to offer support to family and friends. Stop by the hospital for educational information, remembrance walks and a prayer vigil.
Booths open from 9:30 am - 1 pm at the hospital entrance
Remembrance walk at 10 am. Meet at the flagpole in front of the hospital.
Prayer and moment of silence to honor those who have lost their lives to overdose. Meet at the flagpole in front of the hospital at Noon.
Remembrance walk at 7 pm. Meet at the flagpole in front of the hospital.
