About Faraaz Rahman

Jeffersonville, Indiana area born and raised Interventional & Structural Cardiologist, Dr. Faraaz Rahman obtained his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2011. He then completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and went on to complete three subspecialty Fellowship trainings. He obtained his Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship from Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center/Milwaukee Heart Institute in Wisconsin, his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and his Structural Heart and Transcatheter Valve Intervention Fellowship from Virginia Tech Carilion Clinic School of Medicine. He is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Rahman serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. His special area of expertise and interest is minimally invasive percutaneous transcatheter heart valve repair and replacement (including TAVR and Mitral Clip).
