iDeciding to quit smoking is one of the best decisions you can make for your health. Quitting isn't easy, but it's worth it. Together with the Clark County Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Coalition, Clark Memorial's free Smoking Cessation Program can help you every step of the way.
The good news is, you see and feel improvements relatively quickly once you stop smoking. Circulation and blood pressure improve, breathing gets easier, and the lungs begin to heal. Even your sense of smell and taste improve.
Through our partnership with the coalition, quit coaches will help you create the cessation plan that’s right for you. Whether you want to quit cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping, JUUL, or spit tobacco, the free program offers counseling, nicotine patches, and the support you need to quit. We also offer free educational programs for schools, businesses, faith-based organizations, and other groups.

More than 80% of cancers found have been in the earliest stages when they're more treatable.
You should consider having a lung screening if you:
Because prevention and screening are so important to lung health, Clark Memorial offers a $110 CT lung screening program for at-risk individuals whose insurance plan does not cover the cost. This special cash price saves patients who meet eligibility requirements approximately $300 in out-of-pocket expenses.
